THE MADEIRA COLLECTION

The Madeira Collection is created by 6 different designs. Inspired in the vast tropical forests of South America, this collection gets its name from the Portuguese word for wood. Deep carved leave and flower patterns create this one of a kind collection.

The 6 models are offered in widths ranging from 5.5” (14cm) to 6.5” (16.5cm). The inner lip for each style can be ordered in three alternatives: F1, F2 o F3, being the F1 a flat, straight lip with a small scoop, while the F2 and F3 have two different carved patterns. The lip is 1.5” thick and can also be ordered as a frame itself. Custom sizes, shapes, finishes and widths are available upon request. Go to catalogue.

THE TAYRONA COLLECTION

The Tayrona Collection is composed by 10 styles.  Its name and designs are inspired in the pre-hispanic cultures that lived in Northern COLOMBIA at “The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta”. The Sierra Nevada is an isolated mountain range apart from the Andes chain that runs through Colombia. Reaching an altitude of 5,700 meters above sea level just 42 km from the Caribbean coast, is the world's highest coastal range. The Tairona culture lived here being “Ciudad Perdida" or "Lost City" their most famous city, discovered only in 1972. The handmade carvings reflect our inspiration source to create a classic collection with a touch of modernism due to its straight simple angles and rounded edges.

All styles are offered in one single width of 3” (7.5cm), but as it is characteristic of all SM moldings, customers can personalize the molding by making it thicker, narrower, taller and changing finishes between these components. Some of our clients have even designed their own profiles by combining the different inner lip carving styles with diverse outside moldings or have even selected the components separately as single frames. THE TERRA COLLECTION

The Terra Collection is created by 10 models. This unique collection of closed corner frames is inspired in mother earth, which provides the natural materials that we use to create a one of a kind product full of texture and color. The name TERRA means “EARTH” in Portuguese.

Each style is offered in widths ranging from 3” (7.5cm) to 6” (15cm), but as it is characteristic of all SMF moldings, customers can personalize the molding by making it thicker, narrower, taller, switching finishes between components, etc. Most profiles can be ordered in any of our exotic finishes, cedar wood tones and fine veneers or combinations of these, giving you many different design possibilities. THE TREASURE COLLECTION

The Treasure Collection is composed of 11 styles of frames available in 2” and 3” wide.  As the Cosmopolitan Collection, deep carves characterize these models whose designs are inspired by the art movement from the Spanish colonial era in South America.
