While doing your own furniture design consider the following aspects:
- Type of access to project site (Elevator, stairs, etc.).
- Access space (Door dimensions, etc).
- In how many modules should the furniture piece be constructed to facilitate access to installation site?
- If wall hanging is required consider wall dimensions.
- Consider any hydraulic or electrical points to determine if any perforation is required during the manufacturing process and specify place and size.
- Is the furniture going to support any special weather condition?
- Consider any special functionality like heavy weight support, constant movement, etc.
- If the piece is a bed, consider the size of the mattress.
- If the piece is a panel(s), all support, hanging and installation system must be specified.
- Type of hardware.
- If the piece is a repetitive design, consider the order # to expedite estimates and drawing process.
- Specify any other special request or detail considered important during the manufacturing process.
