San Marcos is a company established in the year 2000 by Gustavo, Santiago and Julian Sinisterra, Colombian entrepreneurs with an artistic family history. Because of their dedication, sense of beauty and ability to create a team of uncompromising artisans, they have been able to place their products in international markets with incredible acceptance in a very short time.

We are a company exporting beauty. We work with nature using resources carefully from companies that feel the same way regarding ecology in the world we all share. In reality we don't export products; we export beauty that is a work of love, making the talent and creativity of the Colombian Artisan available to the whole world. In this manner, every member of the San Marcos team is contributing to the economic growth and social equity in our country.

In recognition of our labor, SMF was awarded 1st place in exports during 2001 and 2nd place during 2002 by the Colombian Government for young entrepreneurial companies. SMF latest public recognition was awarded on November 3rd 2004 to Gustavo Sinisterra, Julian Sinisterra and Santiago Sinisterra as “Managers of the Year” by Noti 5, the regional news channel in Cali – Colombia.
